Brooklynd Turner is a fine artist, muralist and illustrator based in Dallas, Texas, who specializes in Abstract Realism. Her work brings together obsessive technical attention to realistic subjects with abstract color and shapes to create a sense of movement and emotion.
After graduating from Booker T. Washington HSPVA, she studied acrylic figure painting, paper arts and installation at Maryland Institute College of Art before receiving a scholarship from Minneapolis College of Art and Design her she earned a BFA in Illustration.
Following two solo shows in Minneapolis, she received awards from The Society of Illustrators which has led to her work being exhibited in multiple group shows in the United States. Her artwork and murals adorn the walls of homes and businesses across the country, including commissions from brands such as 7-Eleven, Modelo, and the Deep Ellum Foundation.
Brooklynd is currently working on her next solo show in Dallas, which will focus on the subject of dreams. When she is not painting, she is usually taking a walk or cuddling her cat, Hologram.
